Chloraka is a village situated to the west of the Paphos district three kilometres from the town, the town is built at an altitude of 70m from the sea. The village is located in a valley which has beautiful views towards the horizon which is lost in the Mediterranean Sea.
Chloraka is a place with beautiful beaches and intense opposites, with old and modern buildings, natural environment and culture which combines Greece, Europe and the Middle East with hotels, restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
The main characteristics of the beaches are their secluded rocks, clear blue waters and their golden sand. The whole village is a balcony to the Mediterranean with rocky slopes, green fields and lush trees.
The first residents were shepherds and farmers who built their farms on the edge in order to watch the sea for pirates and Sarakineans so they could have time to hide their belongings.
